NATIONAL

Detention Watch Network - A national coalition building power through collective advocacy, grassroots organizing, and strategic communications to abolish immigration detention in the United States.

Freedom for Immigrants - Freedom for Immigrants is devoted to abolishing immigration detention, while ending the isolation of people currently suffering in this profit-driven system. They are dedicated to creating new community-based Alternative to Detention models that treat people with dignity and keep them within their communities.

LIRS - Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service is a faith-based organization that advocates for migrants and refugees through a variety of programs.

ARIZONA

Casa Alitas Program (Tuscon, AZ) - The Casa Alitas Program from the Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, Inc. serves migrant families who have left their home countries to escape violence and poverty. We provide care, short-term shelter and help to reunite with family members in the U.S.

Phoenix Welcome Center for Asylum-Seeking Families (Phoenix, AZ) - Operated by the International Rescue Committee of Phoenix, the center offers shelter, clothing and food to migrant families released from ICE detention.

COLORADO

The Accompaniment and Sanctuary Coalition of Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, CO) - The Accompaniment and Sanctuary Coalition of Colorado Springs seeks to make the Pikes Peak region a safer place for immigrants by standing with and protecting immigrants facing obstacles in everyday life, including housing, finances, healthcare, well-being and apprehension/deportation. We do this by supporting and connecting them to the valuable resources in their communities, educating faith communities on issues of immigration and activating them in the coalition’s work, advocating for policy change, and providing sanctuary in a host church to vetted immigrants facing imminent deportation.

Casa de Paz (Denver, CO) - A hospitality house that provides immigrants and their families with visits and emotional support, shelter and meals, access to phones, WiFi, computers and transportation.

Colorado Hosting Asylum Network (link to email) - A network of small teams focused on securing the release from detention of asylum seekers currently held in the Aurora, CO Detention Center.

Colorado Immigration Rights Coalition - The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) is a statewide, membership-based coalition of immigrant, faith, labor, youth, community, business and ally organizations founded in 2002 to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees by making Colorado a more welcoming, immigrant-friendly state. CIRC achieves this mission through non-partisan civic engagement, public education, and advocating for workable, fair and humane immigration policies.

Immigrant Freedom Fund of Colorado - An organization that provides bonds for eligible immigrant detainees that allows them to more effectively navigate the immigration process outside of detention.

RMIAN - The Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) provides free immigration legal services to immigrant children and to adults in immigration detention.

GEORGIA

Casa Alterna (Columbus, GA) - Hospitality organization “committed to acts of hospitality, mercy, and justice.” They offer support to immigrants released from the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, GA.

El Refugio (Columbus, GA) - A hospitality house that offers meals and lodging at no cost, and friendship and support to the loved ones of immigrants and asylum seekers who are detained.

Paz Amigos (Columbus, GA) - Assists undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers who have been released from Stewart Detention Center with basic necessities such as clothing, food and board, while helping to ensure they reach their loved ones safely upon their release.

MASSACHUSETTS

Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network - The Beyond Bond & Legal Defense Fund raises money for immigration bond to free people in ICE prisons who have a connection to the state of Massachusetts.

MONTANA

International Rescue Committee of Missoula, MT - Provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America.

Montanans for Immigrant Justice - Local activists seeking to challenge xenophobic narratives and state and national immigration policies including recent actions to dismantle DACA.

Soft Landing Missoula - Focused on building a sustainable effort to engage the community in helping refugees integrate and thrive well into the future.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Immigrant and Refugee Support Group - A program run by the New Hampshire Conference United Church of Christ that offers support and resources for immigrants in New Hampshire and Vermont.

NEW JERSEY

First Friends of New Jersey & New York - First Friends of NJ and NY upholds the inherent dignity and humanity of detained immigrants and asylum seekers. We provide compassion and hope through volunteer visitation, resettlement assistance and advocacy.

NEW YORK

RDJ Refugee Shelter - The RDJ Refugee Shelter is currently the only shelter in New York City specifically for asylum seekers and refugees experiencing homelessness. We provide the holistic care, support, advocacy, and resources needed to thrive in their new home.

Saratoga Immigration Coalition - A network of civic groups, faith communities and concerned individuals in Saratoga Springs, NY.

TEXAS

Annunciation House - Annunciation House is a volunteer organization that offers hospitality to migrants, immigrants, and refugees in the border region of El Paso, Texas.

Casa Marianella - Casa Marianella welcomes displaced immigrants and promotes self-sufficiency by providing shelter and support services. Our ultimate vision is that all immigrants arriving in Austin will have safe housing and access to the services they need to be successful.

Good Neighbor Settlement House - Good Neighbor Settlement House, Inc. is a nonprofit, multi-service agency dedicated to assisting the needy men, women and children of Brownsville through programs that provide nutritious meals, clothing, showers and support services.

Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) - Promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families and refugees in Central and South Texas. RAICES is the largest immigration non-profit in Texas with offices in Austin, Corpus, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.

VERMONT

Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP) - The mission of the Community Asylum Seekers Project is to provide basic needs and a supportive community for those in the process of seeking asylum in the U.S. Works in Vermont and New Hampshire.

WASHINGTON

Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest - The AIDNW Welcome Center is in an RV stationed outside the release gate, and the immigrants know this is a place where they can get help. We can arrange for their transportation to the bus station, airport or taxi, and when needed, we provide temporary housing until more permanent arrangements are made.
